Laura Marie Loftus is a writer living in Los Angeles, CA. She is a full-time working mother to her young daughters and wife to her husband who battles Multiple Sclerosis. She currently works at a commercial insurance agency specializing in public auto where she produces and edits content for their website.
Writing creatively and with purpose is not new to her. Although life threw her a few curveballs, she stays inspired to write about her personal experiences of being a young family dealing with chronic illness while trying to balance her life as a mom and insurance professional.
Her point of view on life is observant and bright, with touches of dark humor.
Life can try to get in the way of a writer’s craft, but as a close college profressor once told her, “as long as you’re writing, you are a writer!”
